The app requests the following device permissions only to perform core recording functions:

Screen Recording & Media Capture

• RECORD_AUDIO: Required to capture sound from your microphone or internal audio during a recording.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION & PROJECT_MEDIA: Essential for the app to capture your screen content in real-time.

Storage / Media Access

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: Used on Android 13+ to manage your recordings.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used on Android 12 and below to save and edit files.
• ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION: Used to read metadata for organizing your media library.

Camera & Overlays

• CAMERA: Used only if you enable the “Facecam” feature to record your face while capturing the screen.
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Required to display the floating control panel and brush tools over other applications.

System & Ads

• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Used by Google AdMob for personalized or non-personalized ads.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used for app performance, checking network status, and loading ads.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to provide recording status and controls in the notification bar.

2. How We Use This Information

All permissions are used strictly for:

• Capturing and saving high-quality screen recordings and screenshots.
• Providing an interactive floating controller and drawing tools.
• Local video trimming and playback features.
• Running the app smoothly via foreground services.

We never: Upload your media, share your recordings with third parties, or sell any personal information. Everything stays on your device.

3. Advertising

4. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your privacy:

• All video encoding and processing happens locally on your device.
